Our Disney Fairy Tale wedding day started like any other…the two of us just wanting to be together. We both love classic traditions, so spending the night apart before our wedding day was important to us. But even as we sit here 20 years later, talking about that day, we both agree we couldn’t wait for the clock to strike 12 so we could be together again… this time at the altar.  

We were married in a dreamy Fairy Tale Wedding at Walt Disney World so we incorporated the clock striking 12 like in romantic love story Cinderella. It only seemed fitting since I was marrying my own Prince Charming. As I stood there in my wedding gown waiting to walk up the aisle, the clock struck twelve and the doors opened to the Disney wedding chapel. There, waiting for me at the end of the aisle was my sweet Matt, the love of my life.  

Matt will tell you there are no words for what he felt when he saw me standing there in my veil and gown. His heart was pounding, his eyes welled up with tears and he couldn’t contain the biggest smile he’d ever had. I saw his joy shining in those bluegreen eyes, and it was the best moment of my life. Nothing else mattered besides getting to that altar and becoming his wife.  

We recently returned to the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Pavilion to visit this special place that we were married at 20 years ago – only this time as Destination & Arizona Wedding Photographers! We have added 20 great years of laugh lines around our mouths and joy lines around our eyes. Sounds pretty good to me as continue to live our Happily Ever After.
